The problematic

The increase in regulatory constraints concerning industrial water discharge and the growing costs of drinking water, make it more and more attractive to recycle process- and washing water.

What’s more, the ecological impact of industries can be considerably reduced by putting into place simple treatments to recycle process water.

The requirements : Securing factory waste water for use in industrial processes, for rinsing or washing. Recycling process water, bacteriological treatment before discharge, protection of the materials (osmosis, filtration), production and storage of ultra pure water, destruction of residual ozone. To implement an effective treatment which does not modify the physical-chemical qualities of the water whilst completely eradicating the pathogenic microorganisms. To treat process water for reutilisation as water for rinsing or sprinkling.

Targeted applications : Chemical-, food-, cosmetic- pharmaceutical- and aeronautic industries, stock-breeding, microcomponent manufacturers and manufacturing factories.


Sterilization with ultraviolet is considered to be one of the most effective disinfection-techniques against bacteria, viruses and protozoa. It is a physical treatment which disinfects by using the UVC light spectrum at a wavelength of 254 nm. The nucleic acids (ADN and ARN) of the microorganisms are damaged by radiation from the UV lamps, thus leading to their immediate destruction.

The germicidal effectiveness of UV reactors depends on several factors :

>> the quality of the water (transmittance)
>> the flow rate
>> reactors hydraulic
>> the duration of contact

This solution disinfects without using chemical products incompatible with a large number of industrial processes.


To size our equipment we use a modelling software developed by our research department to ensure a UV dose of 40 mj/cm2 at the end of the lamps’ lifespan (Standard NF EN 14897+A1), and so minimizing pressure loss.

>> Steel, epoxy coated electrical cabinet for interior, or polyester double doors for exterior installation.
>> UV intensity sensor complying with the DVGW standard, with alarm and pre-alarm, display in W/m2 and alarm for the service life of the lamps.
>> Remote control and alarms (lamp error signal, alarm buzzer).
