Our environment is more and more polluted by microbes, micro-pollutants, bacteria, viruses, bad smells, etc. For some years, growing awareness of the quality of our indoor environment has created renewed interest in UV-technology.

Ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of exactly 253.7 nm (UVC) inactivate pathogenic microorganisms in a few seconds by causing photochemical reactions in their DNA. An abnormal liaison is created in the DNA chain of the bacterium, which loses its capacity to reproduce. The microorganisms and bad smells are thus destroyed.

Disinfection of air by germicidal lamps has been known for over 60 years and this method of purification generates more and more interest amongst businesses, hospitals and administrative institutions.


Our air-disinfection models consist of a body and reflector of food grade stainless steel, ensuring a good distribution of ultraviolet radiation.

They have integrated UV lamps with a lifespan of 9000 hrs and highly UV-transparent quartz sleeves.

The disinfection cycles (optional) are programmed during installation and can vary from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the nature of the environment to be treated, the bacteriological reduction desired and the bacteria and viruses present in the air. The module can be connected to a safety mechanism so it can be stopped at any moment.


The machine can be installed in air circulation conduits and air conditioning systems. It has one or more UVC-lamps and a catalytic filter in order to destroy bad smells in addition to the disinfection process.
